Meet Your Therapist...

Landon C. (Chase) Olson, PT

"Each patient is different and deserves to be treated with an individualized plan of care, which is specific to their diagnosis and personal goals."

Education
Education is a fundamental piece of each side of the patient care spectrum. It allows us to establish a firm foundation and is pivotal in our efforts to achieve our full potential. My educational foundation began at Texas Tech University, where I obtained a background of Biology, Chemistry and English while also preparing myself through countless volunteer hours as a Physical Therapy Tech at University Medical Center. This preparation allowed me to be fully equipped for future challenges. After which, I successfully completed the DPT program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I believe a patient can only reach their full rehab potential if they are properly educated about their impairment. In a similar manner, I believe a clinician can only consistently achieve great clinical outcomes if they are equally equipped with ample knowledge.

Licensed in Physical Therapy: Texas State board of Physical Therapy Examiners

DPT: Doctor of Physical Therapy, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, TX

BS: Bachelor of Science, General Studies, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX

Member: American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association

Individualized care and continual education
Being able to reach and maintain your full potential requires continual improvement. Just as I expect my patients to constantly push themselves, I expect the same out of myself. Each patient is different and deserves to be treated with an individualized plan of care based on their diagnosis and personal goals. Persistently finding and using the most up to date, research based methods in everyday practice allows me to effectively treat a broad array of patients. I feel the best way to achieve and maintain consistently successful patient outcomes is by constantly improving knowledge and skills through daily practice, self study, and continuing education courses.

Serving my community
In my past years through undergraduate and physical therapy school, I was able to participate in events with organizations such as the American Red Cross, Children's Miracle Network and Habitat for Humanity. Having recently moved to the San Antonio area, I hope to establish a firm presence within the community. I will continue and expand such outreach in my newly established home.
